ABOUT THE ARTIST:

NICHOLAS RYAN GANT
Nicholas Ryan Gant is a New York-based singer/ songwriter/ educator. NRG studied Opera at Howard University and then received his Master’s of Arts in Music Education from Hunter College, in partnership with the Lincoln Center Scholars program. NRG currently works as a Music Teacher in NYC schools. In the classroom he strives to connect music to real life outside those four walls. Nicholas Ryan Gant is also a sought after vocal coach internationally. His dynamic vocal stylings have afforded him the opportunity to sing support vocals for Mariah Carey, Jon Batiste, Run the Jewels, Sy Smith, Childish Gambino, Miri Ben-Ari and Michael McDonald. NRG has been inspired by musicians of every genre of music. A few that are close to his heart are Leontyne Price, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, The Clark Sisters, Prince, Whitney Houston, D’angelo and Brandy.
